Boss reflects on the action...

SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith has reflected upon our 2-2 draw with Crewe Alexandra as we let a two-goal lead slip.

"There was some terrific football played by both sides," he said. "It was a great advert for League One football.

"It's unfortunate that we surrendered a two-goal lead but I felt that we were excellent during the opening half-an-hour. It's a case of working on doing that on a more consistent basis throughout games because we have showed again what we are capable of.

"They put us under a bit of pressure in the final 10/15 minutes and we didn't keep the ball as well as we had done previously. That said, we'll learn from these mistakes and move on.

"Some of our decision-making wasn't great, but there is belief in that dressing room and now we are looking forward to going to Sheffield United on Tuesday.

"It's the kind of stage that my players want to be playing on and we'll go there with confidence and determination to play the way we have done throughout the season so far."
