SHREWSBURY GAME SOLD-OUT!

10 October 2012

All tickets have been sold...Important information regarding Sunday's game at Greenhous Meadow...

THE SADDLERS have sold out of our 1,434 allocation of tickets for Sunday’s local derby at Shrewsbury Town (kick-off 3.30pm).

No further tickets will be on sale and supporters are reminded that the fixture is strictly all ticket for both sets of supporters. To contact Shrewsbury, please call 01743 273 943.

There is no parking at the ground for away fans, EXCEPT for disabled supporters, coaches and minibuses. There is also very limited street parking and supporters are reminded that parking enforcement officers will be on duty throughout the day and all restrictions will be strictly enforced.

As a condition of entry from Shrewsbury FC all supporters – home and away - will be subject to a search. With this in mind, please allow sufficient time to be searched and to gain access into the stadium.

There is no alcohol on sale inside the stadium and, as the fixture is ALL-TICKET, supporters are reminded to sit in the seat allocated to them.

Finally, West Midland Police, in conjunction with West Mercia Police, have issued the folloing regarding public house:

“There are no designated away pubs. This does not mean that no pubs will accept away fans.

"The Brooklands Public House which was mentioned previously as being available to Walsall fans has closed down and will not be re-opening in the near future.

"Wetherspoons in Shrewsbury Town Centre will not be accepting away fans - this is the pubs decision and nothing to do with the respective police forces.

"All other pubs in Shrewsbury Town Centre will have door staff on duty, it is up to the door staff / licencee who they allow to use the pub.”
