Young second-string put up good show as Chambers gets 45 minutes of action...
THE SADDLERS' second-string slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Hull City, but there were plenty of positives to come out of the game.
"The performance was very good," said reserve team boss, Richard O'Kelly. "We did particularly well in the first half and deservedly took the lead through Kieron Morris.
"That's how the scoreline stayed going into half-time; I was pleased with our overall play and our understanding of what to do without the ball.
"We had a lot of young players out there and although our hosts were able to turn the scoreline around, the game was full of positives for us. We tested Hull to the limit and it would be unfair to single anyone out as it was a real team effort.
"The lads acquitted themselves well and it was good to be able to get 45 minutes of action into Adam Chambers.
"It took us four and-a-half hours to get to the game and despite everything we had to contend with, I was proud of the players."
