GRIGG READY FOR BLADES

22 October 2012

Front-man feeling sharp...

FRONT-man, Will Grigg returned from International Duty to go straight back into the starting line-up for Saturday's clash with Crewe Alexandra.

Whilst the 21 year-old was disappointed to see us concede a late equaliser against The Alex, he believes that there were plenty of positives to come out of the game for us to take in Tuesday's trip to Sheffield United (kick-off 7.45pm).

"The way we started the game on Saturday was superb," he said. "We played some brilliant football and kept the ball really well. We fully deserved to go 2-0 up with two great goals.

"Their goal just before the break gave them belief and it was disappointing that we couldn't hold onto our lead. But with the way we're playing and the chances we are creating, we know that we'll win more than we lose and I expect us to run up a big win against someone.

"There's no reason to change the way we've been playing; we go into Tuesday's game looking forward and ready for the challenge that awaits us.

"It's a great stage to play on. We'll go there full of confidence and with a determination to make the most of it and bring home the right result.

"It's a big opportunity for us against a side who are yet to taste defeat this season.

"We've been playing well recently but have been lacking that element of luck, so hopefully that will change on Tuesday."
