Brandy ready for Shrews clash...

WITH Will Grigg away on International Duty, summer signing, Febian Brandy is eyeing a first start for the club in Sunday's televised clash at Shrewsbury Town (kick-off 3.30pm).

“It’s a big game and there’s going to be quite a big expectation," he said. "It’s live on Sky and the lads are ready for it.

“There’ll be a big build-up, but we're more than capable of going there and getting the three points.

“When I came here I didn't realise there was such a rivalry between Walsall and Shrewsbury, but we'll approach the game in exactly the same way as any other.

“We’re always just looking to get the next three points in the bag. It could be a derby or whatever but we can pass any team off the park on a good day – even on a bad day.

“We’ve had a little blip in recent matches, but the lads we've got here can override it and we’re positive. We've beaten fancied teams like Portsmouth, Preston, Notts County and MK Dons, whilst teams are coming to us and playing 4-5-1, which is a compliment."

Supporters are asked to note that our full allocation for Sunday's game has been sold out and no further tickers will be available, so do not travel without a ticket.

If you are unable to make it along to the game, fear not as Saddlers Player will have live, full match commentary...
