WE HAVE a wealth of Midlands footballing personalities coming up here at Banks's Stadium as part of our Autumn Sporting Dinner programme.October saw the appearance of former Blues hero, Trevor Francis who had some superb stories to tell. It made for a fantastic evening.
November will see John Hartson as celebrity speaker. The no-nonsense former Wales International striker has served the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Coventry City, Celtic, West Ham and Arsenal during a colourful career in the game. He has also successfully battled cancer and in recent years has forged a successful career for himself in the media.
Joining the big man will be comedian, Jed Stone.
We have a double-header in December which starts on Wednesday, December 5th with former Aston Villa and Coventry City front-man, Dion Dublin, who is making quite a name for himself as a pundit.
He will be joined by comedian, Paul Boardman.
And last but by no means least, we welcome Paul Merson back to Banks's Stadium on Wednesday, December 12th.
The extremely talented former Aston Villa, Saddlers and England man is always a great character and has some fantastic stories from his years in the game.
Merse will be joined by comedian, Mike Farrell. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENING HAS NOW SOLD OUT.
