Boss ready to bounce back...

I AM delighted to be able to bring Sam Mantom back to the club on loan. He knows how we work and what we are trying to do here and will be a good addition to the squad.

I felt that we needed freshening up and Sam jumped at the chance of coming back here. He performed well for us last season and we know that he's a good professional and a very talented footballer who wants to play games and do his bit for the club.

Because of the start we made, the lads raised the bar of expectation and now, by everyone working together, we need to get back to that. It's about staying together as a group and continuing to work hard.

Tuesday was obviously very disappointing but we have the chance to put things right straight away. It won't be an easy game; Swindon are a good team with good players and they have more resources at their disposal than a lot of clubs at this level.

The challenge is there for us to regroup and show people what we are about.

Our visitors have done well so far this season following their promotion last year. We know their strengths but it is about what we do and reaching the standards that we know we are capable of.

The supporters need to stick with us. They have been good this season and I totally understand their frustration on Tuesday evening. Thankfully we've not had too many of those performances, but it's a case of sticking with us so that we can all move forward together.
