Boss on home draw...
SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith has reflected upon our 1-1 home draw with Hartlepool United."We were the dominant force for most of the game," he said. "It was a good performance, the only thing missing was the win at the end of it.
"If we had converted some of our chances, we would have won this game comfortably. Their 'keeper has made some good saves, the ball has flashed across the face of goal a number of times and we have missed opportunities.
"I'd be more concerned if we weren't creating chances, to be fair. We look organised and disciplined and those are important ingredients in any team.
"If we keep showing these type of qualities, the results will turn. Even if it means us winning with a scrappy goal off someone's backside.
"A lot of the lads looked like they were playing with confidence and we didn't panic when we went a goal behind. As I say, we deserved to win, but it just wasn't to be.
"We'll take the positives and work hard on the training ground to be ready for the next game."
