SKIPPER UP FOR THE CUP

Butler ready for Imps challenge...

SKIPPER, Andy Butler is targeting an FA Cup run as we look to make a return to winning ways on Tuesday evening in our first round replay with Lincoln City (kick-off 7.45pm).

"It's important that we keep ourselves mentally strong," said the popular centre-half. "We're continuing to create chances in games, it's just little things that we've got to get right, which we are working on.

"It's a long season; we're being positive and know that our fortunes will turn and we will get back to where we were in September.

"There's no point in being down about it. We have to look ahead and try to get on a positive run of results, starting on Tuesday evening.

"An FA Cup run is massively important to us. The incentive is there for us to beat Lincoln with another home tie against non-League opposition in the next round, but first of all we have concentrate on the challenge that Lincoln will present to us.

"We know that we didn't play well at their place; they made life difficult for us but we have a chance to put things right against hard-working opposition.

"As a team we can pull each other through this."
