Injury not as bad as first feared...
THE SADDLERS have been given a timely boost with the news that Florent Cuvelier's hamstring injury isn't as bad as first feared. The Belgian ace is back in training and eyeing a return to action next weekend.
"Flo's initial scan showed a lot of fluid, so it was difficult to determine how bad the injury was," said manager, Dean Smith. "He had another scan earlier this week, which has showed it as a Grade 1 tear and that means he is likely to be back next weekend, which is a real bonus for us.
"He's back training with us and is committed to working hard and getting himself ready to return to action.
"He's been to watch every game since he has been injured and is just desperate to get back out there and help the club get back on track."
There is further good news regarding Andy Taylor who is set to be available for selection on Saturday as we head for Crawley Town. Meanwhile, Sam Mantom and Will Grigg also return to the fray, whilst Ben Purkiss is closing in on his return to full fitness.
