Smith lets four trialists go...
THE SADDLERS have decided against pursuing interest in four players who have been on trial at the club in recent weeks.Spanish duo Kike Silva and Rudy Torres have departed alongside Peter Gilbert and Ashley Sammons.
Silva missed Saturday's game against Wolves through injury, whilst Torres was a second half substitute. Meanwhile full-back Gilbert started the game and youngster Sammons was introduced into the action during the second period.
"We thank each of them for their efforts and wish them well in their future careers," said boss, Dean Smith.
There will be a number of players looking to stake their claim for a contract tonight as The Saddlers take on Kidderminster Harriers in our latest pre-season friendly.
Admission at Aggborough will be £8 (adults), £5 (concessions) and free for juniors under-16.
