Second draw in a row for youth team...
THE SADDLERS' youth team drew their second League game in a row with a 1-1 draw against Macclesfield Town."We started the game very well," said Head of Youth, Neil Woods. "We played some fluent, attacking football in the opening 215 minutes and it resulted in us taking the lead when Alex Reid finished off a flowing move.
"We allowed Macclesfield to get back into it and they levelled before the break and that's how it stayed at half-time.
"We never really got going to the standard we know we are capable of in the second half. We created chances but never controlled the game like I know we can.
"Things are not quite flowing as they were last season at the moment; when we're at it we look good, but its not happening often enough in games. That said, we are working at it and I am confident we will get to where we want to be sooner rather than later."
