Boss ready for second away trip of the week...
LOOKING back at Tuesday evening's draw at Oldham, I felt that we started the game well and on the front-foot. A mistake cost us a goal as our hosts got on top for the remainder of the opening period, but we were the better side in the second half and deservedly got something out of the game.We displayed character and fight as well as the necessary battling qualities to go alongside some periods of good play.
There are a number of clubs in this League who have had a big change-around in players over the summer and Notts County fall into this category.
We've had their last few games watched, so we know what to expect and what we have to do to beat them.
I was pleased with the way in which we finished our game at Oldham on Tuesday evening and hopefully we can take this into Saturday.
I'm sure we'll have a good following for what is a short journey and hopefully our travelling contingent will play their part. It has all the ingredients to be a good game and we are looking forward to it.
