THE SADDLERS face our final first-team pre-season friendly this evening as we play host to Premier League neighbours, West Bromwich Albion (kick-off 7.45pm).Manager, Dean Smith will have one final chance to run the rule over his squad before our season gets underway with a Capital One Cup first round clash with Brentford on Saturday.
Summer signings Dean Holden, Ashley Hemmings, Febian Brandy, Paul Downing, James Baxendale, Nicky Featherstone and Ben Purkiss are all expected to feature with fellow new-boy, Connor Taylor still not 100% fit.
For Downing in particular, it will be the chance to come up against his former club.
Midfield man, Adam Chambers will line up against the club where he launched his career and is expected to be joined in the side by twin brother, James Chambers, who has been on trial at the club in recent weeks.
Admission to this evening's game is £12 (adults) and £6 (concessions). Please arrive as early as possible in order to avoid long queues building up ahead of kick-off. Please note that Baggies supporters will be accommodated in the Sign Specialists Stand and Five Rivers Family Stand.
