A commanding and aggressive defender, Kevin Toner joined the Saddlers on a six month loan in August 2016.
The 20-year old Irishman arrived at the Banks’s Stadium days before the close of the transfer window and made his debut in a 3-3 draw with Bury on 27th August 2016 Toner’s career began with his hometown side Ashbourne United before making the move to Home Farm in 2010.
Following a string of impressive displays in Ireland, he joined Aston Villa Academy two years later where he continued his development.
