rmSATURDAY'S match against Macclesfield Town was a monumental struggle. They did everything that we expected and provided us with a huge test, so I was delighted that we came out of the game with three points and another clean sheet.

We showed tremendous resillience, organisation and attitude, qualities which will get results like that. I thought that we played some good football, particularly in the first half, but lacked the penetration of the previous game against Peterborough United.

It was nice to see Hector Sam get off the mark. He has worked tirelessly so far this season and his finish was superb. It brought the biggest cheer of the afternoon and it was clear to see how much it meant to both the players and the supporters.

We've got it all to do again now as our busy schedule of matches continues. I am really looking forward to this evening's game; we have everything to gain as a team, as a club and as individuals.

The lads deserve to play in front of a big crowd and I am sure that there will be a cracking atmosphere inside the stadium. Let's just go out and enjoy the occasion and see what happens. Bolton Wanderers will give us the respect that we deserve and it has all the ingredients to be a good game.

They are a club who have been in the top half of the Premiership in recent years and we want to give a good account of ourselves against them.

By working together we will do just that. I thank you for your support tonight and indeed over the course of our past couple of home games. We are back on the road again on Saturday with a tricky trip to Bristol Rovers, so I hope to see as many of you there as possible.
