THE RESULT in our last game was excellent and, naturally, we will be looking to build on it against Plymouth Argyle.

There was a real team ethic about our victory at Brentford; we defended as a team and attacked as a team and now it is important to get our home performances right.

Plymouth had a fantastic win at Southampton on the opening day of the season and their number one aim will be to bounce straight back up into The Championship.

They are sure to be there or thereabouts in the final reckoning and in Peter Reid they have an astute man at the helm who knows exactly what he wants and how to get there.

It was a big coup for Plymouth to get him, but obviously he believes that the club are going places. He is a great guy and I can only admire what he has done both as a player and manager.

We know that we will come up against hard-working opposition on Saturday; it will be a tough game but we have prepared correctly for it and will be going all out to get that first home win under our belts.

Our supporters will also have a key role to play in this. Our visitors are sure to bring a large and vocal following, so we need our fans in good voice right from the off.
