WHILST we have put in two very good performances in our last couple of matches, we only have one point to show for our efforts. We will be looking to build on the displays against Hartlepool United and return to winning ways in order to extend our unbeaten home run.

There are three games left and we are looking for nine points. We know that Hartlepool will be equally as determined to end the season on a high; they are waiting to see what punishment they will be given for fielding an ineligible player in their recent victory over Brighton.

It leaves them in limbo, so they will be looking to get the points to secure their League One status. They have hit some decent form in recent weeks, but have suffered from inconsistency this term.

We know it will be tough, but if we perform like we know we can do, then we will give ourselves every chance of securing the three points on offer.

We've got to aim for that tenth place - there are three or four clubs eyeing that position, so we will be focussing on picking up the points on offer, starting at the weekend.

We are always looking to improve; last season we finished 13th, and we want to make steady progress and continue to develop and take the club forward.
