CHRIS HUTCHINGS v MILLWALL, 6/3/2010

Posted on: Fri 05 Mar 2010

IT'S been a case of drawing a line under last weekend's defeat at Southampton and preparing in the right way for the challenge that Millwall will present to us on Saturday.

We constructively analysed the performance at St. Mary's earlier this week, which we always do, and are determined to bounce back in the right way against a Millwall side who are eying a place in the play-offs.

It's going to be a tough task and a big improvement is needed from us, but we have proved in the past that we have the necessary character within the squad.

We try to play at a high tempo in each game but this has become increasingly difficult to maintain with the state of the pitch and the way in which the matches have been coming thick and fast.

We know that Kenny Jackett will have his side well-organised and difficult to break down. They got into the play-offs last season and there will be pressure on them to do the same this time around.

In Neil Harris and Steve Morison they have a potent strikeforce. Harris just seems to keep going and you know that if he gets a chance, more often than not he will take it. Morison meanwhile has been in a rich vein of form and scored twice against us at The New Den.

We will certainly be kept on our toes, but I am looking for us to give our supporters something to cheer about and emerge with the right result come the final whistle.
