LOOKING back at Saturday's point at Brentford, I think that a draw was a fair result in the end.
We were a little slow getting started and they caused us a few problems in the opening period, but after the break we did a lot better and fully deserved to take something out of the game.
Had our final ball been a little bit better, we could have easily capitalised and won the game, but the lads deserve great credit for coming back from a goal down away from home in difficult conditions.
There is plenty of confidence running throughout the team as a result of our current unbeaten run and good competition for places in all positions, which can only be a positive thing.
I'd like to think that we are turning the Banks's Stadium into something of a fortress. We've only been beaten once here and that was against an in-form Leeds United in a game where we fully deserved something.
It is up to us to get on the front-foot at home; it's all about displaying consistency and maintaining our performance levels in order continue adding to our points tally.
Tonight we face an Oldham Athletic side who will come here well-organised and determined to embark upon a run of results that will thrust them into the top half of the table. They came back from two goals down to share the spoils with high-flying Colchester United at the weekend.
We have some important matches on the horizon. The games are coming thick and fast and you, the supporters, have such a key role to play during the busy schedule that lies ahead for us.
It is a challenge that we face with real relish and by all working together and pulling in the same direction we can give ourselves every chance of being successful.
