CHRIS HUTCHINGS v COLCHESTER UNITED, 24/10/2009

Posted on: Fri 23 Oct 2009

WE FACE a Colchester United side who are on a good run of results and credit for that must go to Aidy Boothroyd.

I've known Aidy for a long time, in fact, he was my boot boy at Huddersfield Town, and he is a good manager who has worked at the highest level. He does well with what he's got and has Colchester playing to their strengths.

They are a big, strong side and will be a tough test for us. Like any game, we will have to stand up and be counted. I felt that we got bullied in the opening 25 minutes or so against Exeter City last weekend and had to change things around in order to get into the game.

We know that we will have to be at our best to get anything out of the game and we will have to take our chances.

There are various options and scenarios available to me in terms of what line-up we go with, but the key is to continue making steady progress and keep plugging away to move up that League table.
