CHRIS HUTCHINGS v TRANMERE ROVERS, 11/4/2009
ALL OF our remaining games this season are against teams who are above us in the table, so it will be a useful test and a challenge that we are looking forward to.
As a professional you never want the season to just peter out; it's a case of us seeing how far we can go and winning as many matches as possible.
Tranmere Rovers are a good team who find themselves right on the edge of the play-off places. We know it will be tough as they are a big, well-organised side and if we are not 100% then we will get beaten.
We are aware of their threat and will be equipped to deal with it. We can have an effect on those teams chasing play-off places and we have got to give our supporters something to shout about.
It's a two-way thing and it's up to us to put in the performances that will get a few more bums on seats.
A positive finish will give us all a good summer.
It is great news to have Manny Smith available following his injury at Millwall last weekend. He's had various tests and been given the green light to play by the doctor. Obviously it's a big plus for us, but the main thing is that he is okay and there has been no lasting damage.
Happy Easter to you all. Don't forget that we are back in action at Stockport on Monday...
