LOOKING back at last Saturday's trip to Leyton Orient, I was delighted to bring home maximum points.

When you go away from home it's always going to be difficult, particularly against a team who had won three games in a row and were full of confidence, but we put in a real battling team performance where everyone worked hard for each other and played their part.

We started slowly, but got into our stride more as the game went on to make it two wins in a row following our 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in our last game on home soil.

The reaction from the players was just what I was looking for following the huge disappointment that we all felt against Bristol Rovers. To bounce back in the manner that we did only goes to highlight the tremendous character that exists within the squad.

The test now is whether we can build on these performances and embark upon another positive run of results. If we want to get better we have to strive to improve in everything that we do and we come up against a Cheltenham Town side who are battling for their lives at the foot of the table.

Like Leyton Orient last weekend, they go into the game on the back of an impressive run of recent results that has seen them win two and draw two of their last four games. They will be determined to extend that run on Saturday and Martin Allen will have his players well up for the task in hand, so it will be important for us to maintain the standards that we have set ourselves in the last two games.

We want to progres and move forward. It is important that we finish on a high; everyone involved with the club has to remain focussed and positive.
