HAVING extended our unbeaten run on Saturday, we go into the game in upbeat mood. Winning breeds confidence and we are starting to get a level of consistency into our performances, which is pleasing.

That's three clean sheets in a row now and we know that if we can keep things tight at the back, we have the players who will always score goals.

Looking back at Saturday's victory over Yeovil Town, I felt that we didn't test their goalkeeper enough during the first half. Things improved after the break and we ended up running out worthy winners thanks to two good goals.

The next game is always the most important and we now focus our attention on the challenge that Scunthorpe United will present. They are a strong side and have quality throughout their side.

That said, each and every member of our playing staff knows what is expected of them and we have been working hard to get the best out of each individual.

We can't wait for the next game to come around.
