THE SITUATION is that I am in charge until informed otherwise. The club is currently going through the list of applicants and until a suitable applicant is found, I will continue to do the job and prepare for games.

I am going to control the controlables and not waste my energy on other matters.

Whilst it is not nice to see a friend leave, sadly it's part-and-parcel of football. The main thing on the agenda has been to prepare for the game against Peterborough United.

I watched them against West Bromwich Albion during the week and have seen them three or four times already this season. They are an energetic and well-organised side who have numerous match winners in the team.

That said, it doesn't matter what they've got in their team, as long as we perform we'll give them a decent game and give ourselves a chance.

I need the lads to be honest and work hard. We're in this game because we are winners and we will be looking to achieve positive results, starting on Saturday.
