THE TEAM performed extremely well last weekend at Colchester United. To go away and get the result that we did means that the players did the job asked of them.

It certainly gives me a nice headache when selecting the team for Saturday's game against MK Dons.

We go into the game in confident mood and determined to do well in front of our own supporters. We come up against an MK Dons team who look like they will be competing for an automatic promotion spot and like to play football with pace.

Therefore it has all the ingredients to be an entertaining game and I would like to think that there will be a decent turn-out. We know only too well that we are going to have to be at our best; the players really want to do well on home soil and give our fans something to cheer about.

Attacking-wise we look like we are capable of scoring in every game, but we need to start keeping more clean sheets in order to give us a foundation on which to build as we did last weekend.

The reality is that we are just five points off the play-off places with a game in hand. It's a case of staying on the tails of the teams above us and getting the supporters behind us to give the players the backing that they need.

Our fans are fantastic and hopefully we can put on a performance on Saturday to encourage more to come along.
