AFTER two tough away assignments in the space of a week at Leicester and then Leeds at the weekend, it is good to be back on home soil with an immediate opportunity to bounce back from Saturday's defeat at Elland Road.

Against opposition like Leeds you have to take the chances that come your way. We had the best two chances of the first half to get our noses in front, but we didn't take them and were punished for it in the second period.

Leeds are a side of undoubted quality; their movement was fantastic and they scored two excellent goals.

Looking back at our draw with Leicester seven days ago, with a little bit of luck we could have picked up all three points.

We played really, really well on the night and defended as a unit when we needed to. The only disappointment was that we conceded two goals from set-pieces, which is unlike us.

Nevertheless, the lads worked hard and stuck to our game plan to take something out of the game.

The backing that we received at both games was excellent and has certainly been a topic of conversation amongst the players and myself.

We are hoping for more good support this evening as we take on a Swindon Town side whose confidence has been given a boost from two consecutive victories. They are a talented side, who, like ourselves, try to play football the right way.
