THE WHOLE team gave a good account of themselves at Leicester City on Tuesday evening and we know only too well that we will face a similar battle at Leeds United on Saturday.

Leeds are another club with a big squad and a big stadium and there is sure to be a large and vocal crowd in attendance, but that said it gives us a good incentive to go out and put on a performance.

We didn't do ourselves justice last season in front of the live TV cameras. As a team we were caught cold and Jermaine Beckford was the main difference.

To be fair, Leeds have done well to keep hold of him, but the way that our defence coped with the threat of Matty Fryatt and Steve Howard on Tuesday evening will stand them in good stead. I would like to think that as a defensive unit we will be able to put in a similar performance and we know that against opposition with flair and pace, it's going to have to be another disciplined display.

After two disappointing results on home soil we are only too aware that a positive result at Elland Road will help raise the atmosphere on Tuesday evening when we play host to Swindon Town.

The support that we received at the Walkers Stadium was fantastic. Our travelling contingent made themselves heard throughout and that was a topic of conversation in the dressing room at the end.

That backing is much appreciated and more of the same is going to be needed on Saturday as we head for another intimidating venue.
