JIMMY MULLEN v HEREFORD UNITED, OCTOBER 4th

Posted on: Fri 03 Oct 2008

KNOWING Graham Turner as I do, he will have his Hereford side very well-organised and difficult to break down.

He has done a fantastic job and I have the utmost respect for what he has achieved at Edgar Street. It's a tough job but he's an experienced campaigner.

I've been pleased with the way in which we have defended in recent games and hopefully this will continue on Saturday. The team spirit is first-class, but I have told the lads to keep their feet on the ground.

Saturday's game is the first in a tough schedule of matches throughout the month of October, but we are fully focussed on the task that Hereford will present right now.

Everyone is capable of beating each other in this League and we've got to be at our best every single game to earn the right to take the points on offer.

We take a great deal of pride in being as fit as we can and it's credit to the players for wanting to get to the required levels and, of course, Jon Whitney who does a great job with the lads.

Your support has been much appreciated in recent games and I look forward to it continuing this weekend.
