I THOUGHT that we played with a lot of heart on Tuesday evening, particularly in the second half. The frantic pace of the game dictated the way things went; Bristol Rovers were a big, strong team who were tough to break down and countered with real quality, much like we do away from home.

All we can do is keep going. With Leeds also losing, the situation is much the same as it was before the game, albeit with one less game to play.

We will go out there on Saturday and give it another go. I hope that the fans will stay with us and continue to give us excellent backing. Your support in recent games has been much appreciated by the players and myself.

Whatever happens we've had a wonderful first season back in League One. It's been a year of real progression for the club. The young lads have come in and given their all for me and we just need one final push from them.

We face an AFC Bournemouth side who are fighting for their lives both on and off-the-pitch and have been on an impressive recent run of results. They will provide us with yet another tough test as they look to secure the three important points on offer.

I would like to offer a special word of praise to Kevin Bond who has done an absolutely superb job under difficult circumstances. Had the club not been deducted ten points for entering administration, his side would be safe by now.

With three games to go, let's work together to give it one final push.
