LUTON TOWN TEAM TALK
THIS game has danger written all over it. The takeover will give Luton Town a massive boost and one look at their team sheet will tell you what a strong squad of players they have at their disposal.
Mick Harford is starting to stamp their authority on the team and they have put in some impressive recent performances.
As a result, this is going to be a tough game for us and with the squad that they have, they should be in the top six rather than battling it out at the bottom.
That said, we go into the game on the back of a tremendous performance at Swindon last weekend. We were fantastic from start to finish and our response to having a goal chalked off within the first minute was first-class.
We looked at threat all afternoon and defended with good resolve when we had to. I thought we had pretty good control of the game throughout and made a lot of good late runs from midfield, which gave them a lot of problems.
The break that we had in the build-up to the game obviously had a positive effect on us and now we look forward with relish to the run-in ahead.
I would like to put on record my appreciation for the support that we received at Swindon and express the hope that we will receive more of the same at Kenilworth Road.
