WE HAVE achieved what we set out to achieve at the start of the season and go into the final game at Swindon in upbeat mood.

The players have been phenomenal in training this week, they are flying and looking forward to what will be a wonderful game of football in front of a full house and 3,500 travelling supporters.

The script couldn't have been written any better for us; We go into the game with no pressure having taken 23 points from our last 11 games - a fantastic record at this stage of the season.

Swindon will come and attack us. Paul Sturrock has been in bullish and aggressive mood this week and I agree with him. You can be sure that we will be going there in a positive frame of mind looking to take the Title.

The whole outcome is in our own hands, which is a great position to be in. We have been in the top two since September and that is a tremendous achievement. The players deserve all the credit they get and now we have the chance to finish the job off, whilst safe in the knowledge that whatever happens we will be playing League One football next season.

Within the space of 12 months that massive cloud of doom and gloom that hung over the club has disappeared. I am so proud of everyone associated to the club - it's nice when a plan comes together!

Thank you for your outstanding support throughout the season, it has certainly been a factor in our success and I am looking forward to hearing you in good voice at the County Ground.
