THANKS to Saddlers Insight during November, a number of questions were put to various members of staff on a variety of subjects regarding Walsall Football Club.
Every query that has come in has been answered and the response has been emailed back to the supporter who emailed in their question.
A selection have appeared in our Official Matchday Programme - 'White & Red'.
However, at the end of each month, more questions will be published right here on www.saddlers.co.uk. So, if you have a question, just email: daniel.mole@walsallfc.co.uk.
You may have a question to ask the coaching staff or the youth department. You may have a ticket office query, a question for a Club Official, or you may just want to find out more about stadium operations, the Media Department or the Conference & Events side of the business. You may even want to ask one of our players what their favourite colour is!
Whatever your question, simply email daniel.mole@walsallfc.co.uk with 'Saddlers Insight' in the subject header and your name and location. Alternatively, write to: Saddlers Insight, Banks's Stadium, Bescot Crescent, Walsall WS1 4SA.

November Questions
Hello there, I have some questions for Saddlers Insight:
1. What are the barriers that the football club needs to overcome in order to purchase the freehold of the land on which the ground stands?
2. Do the directors recognise that there are a significant number of disillusioned fans who are staying away at the moment? What initiatives do the club intend to take to address this issue?
3. As it's been broken for the past three seasons, could someone come and fix my seat (West Bromwich Building Society Stand Block C Row D Seat 49) please? I look forward to your reply.
Many thanks
Mark Jones, Walsall
Hi Mark,
In terms of your question regarding rent, this was dealt with in last month's 'Saddlers Insight':

In terms of addressing the drop in attendances, the club are adopting a number of initiatives. Last month we launched the 'Saddlers Super 10's' scheme where supporters, who cannot commit to a full season-ticket, can purchase a booklet which entitles them to attend ten home League games of their choice. This scheme has been popular in the past and, thanks to its flexibility, we hope that this will be the case again:

Half-season tickets have also gone on sale with the lowest priced half-season ticket being £159 for adults and £88 for juniors. The half-season tickets entitle a supporter to attend the remaining 13 home League games of the season starting on Boxing Day.
At the lowest price, this equates to around £12 per game for adults and under £7 per game for juniors:

We have also extended our Mini Saddlers scheme to enable all children under the age of to attend games for free as long as they are accompanied by a full-paying adult.
We will be holding another Fun Day over Christmas. Historically, these have always boosted our attendances by around 1,000 supporters.
For the fixture against MK Dons we have worked in partnership with our Community Department who, through offering discounted tickets through their 35 partner schools in the Borough, have sold an additional 1,000 tickets.
There are other initiatives on the horizon and we have also invested in a CRM System which will allow us to build up a better profile of our supporters and therefore target market them with specific offers and information on upcoming fixtures.
Finally, as promised, your seat has been fixed, so you can enjoy the games in comfort!
