CLUB TAKE ON BOARD SUPPORTERS' SUGGESTIONS PART III
DURING the Fan's Focus Meeting earlier this year, the club invited supporters to submit ideas that they would like implementing.
As a result, a group of supporters sent in 10 ideas earlier this month and the club are pleased to announce that a number of these suggestions will now be implemented.
Over the next few days each suggestion and response will appear here on www.saddlers.co.uk:

5 - Transport by Train/Bus
Have dialogue with rail & bus companies to explore the ideas of:
- A £1.00 match return ticket from anywhere in West Midlands. Ticket only sold if season ticket or match ticket is shown
- Season ticket holders being able to pay £20 extra when they renew to obtain a travel card entitling free travel to all home matches.
- Trial a free bus service for Aldridge, Brownhills areas which do not have rail links to the ground.
- Any special buses to use Wallows Lane which could have a manned, removable barrier fitted to allow access by buses. This would allow rapid access and exit from ground.
The club have held preliminary discussions with local bus companies and will continue to do so. Free buses were trialed at a recent home game from the Chuckery area and approximately 90 individuals used the service, which consisted of a shuttle service picking up supporters every 15 minutes from 1.00pm - 2.45pm. The routes would, of course, have to be financially viable in order for the bus companies to adopt these routes.
6 - Leaflets/Flyers
Encourage fans to volunteer to distribute Leaflets/Flyers at places of work, to family & friends etc. Literature to be downloadable form club website.
Agreed. The club's Communications Department produces monthly 'Home Matches' posters, which are distributed around the ground and through our Community Department. These will be uploaded to saddlers.co.uk for fans to download and print.
