THE SADDLERS completed the signing of Frenchman, Sofiene Zaaboub on a one-year deal on July 4th 2008.
The 25 year-old began his career in his native France with Montereau before moving to St. Etienne in 1998.
Coming up through the ranks to earn a first professional contract, he went on to make 20 first-team appearances before moving to Italy in 2002.
The cultured midfielder enjoyed a brief stay with Juventus before moving to Modena. Spells with Spanish outfit, Real Jaen, and Belgium's FC Brussels followed before he arrived on these shores in 2006.
Linking up with Swindon Town, Zaaboub went on to make over 60 appearances during a prosperous spell at the County Ground.
