THE LOCAL lad developed well whilst coming through the Banks's Stadium ranks.
A pacy and determined front-man whose consistent reserve and youth team displays were rewarded with his first senior outing in The Saddlers' FA Cup victory over Yeovil Town in December 2005.
He made a total of 13 first-team appearances during 2005/06, scoring his first goal in the LDV Vans Trophy clash at Swansea, before his season was ended prematurely as he broke his leg whilst turning out for the youth team in an important Cup tie.
Working extremely hard to regain full fitness and after putting pen to paper on his first professional contract during the summer of 2006, he did well for the reserves in 2006/07 as well as spending a fruitful couple of months on loan at Nationwide Conference outfit, Burton Albion.
Awarded a 12-month deal in May 2007, he played his part in an overall successful 2007/08 campaign back at League One level.
Used predominantly as a right winger in 2008/09 where his hard-working displays and ever-willing attitude earned praise from the managerial team.
He continued to play an important role for the team in 2009/10 and this was rewarded with a new contract during the summer of 2010.
