A DIMINUTIVE striker who progressed through the Walsall FC Centre of Excellence to earn a Scholarship place at the start of the 2004/2005 season.
After some impressive youth team displays, where his skill and pace really came to the fore, he was thrust into the first-team squad for our Carling Cup first round clash at Sheffield Wednesday in August 2004.
Entering the action during the second half, he became The Saddlers' youngest first-team player to figure in a senior game at the age of just 16 years and 200 days.
The pocket-size front-man continued his impressive form for both the reserve and youth teams in 2005/06 before he was offered a professional deal in May 2006.
With his first-team chances limited, he joined Martin O'Connor's Halesowen Town on loan on January 4th 2007 but picked up an injury that halted his progress.
He was given a 12-month deal in May 2007 and this is going to be an important season for the Birmingham-born youngster.
