AFTER securing our first win of the season at Brentford in the last game, Saddlers' wide-man, Steve Jones is hoping that we can continue in the winning vein on home soil as Plymouth Argyle provide the opposition on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims were relegated from The Championship at the end of last season and are now under the guidance of Peter Reid. "There is no doubt that it's going to be a tough game," admitted Jones. "Plymouth have invested heavily in their squad and will be looking to prove a point by going straight back up.

"They are one of the fancied sides in League One, but our win at Brentford last weekend was massive for us. We know that we have not played to our capability in our first two games on home soil, but we go into Saturday's game full of confidence.

"It is important that we win our home games and get a good record here as it's our bread-and-butter. We showed what we are capable of at Brentford; the whole team worked hard for each other, and now we are determined to put on a performance for our home fans on Saturday."
