SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings was delighted after seeing his side secure their first victory of the season with a hard-earned 2-1 win at Brentford. "We did very well today," he said. "They were a threat at set-pieces and we had to defend well and work hard as a team.

"Overall I was delighted with the performance; we knew we had to tighten up after our first two games, and I am delighted for the lads and supporters that we were able to come to what is a difficult place and get three points.

"We're off and running now. Today we had to defend and attack as a team and there was a real team ethic which saw us just about deserve to win the game."
