THE SADDLERS face our final first-team friendly on Saturday as we travel to Port Vale (kick-off 3.00pm).

"I'm expecting a hard game," said boss, Chris Hutchings. "With the start of the season just a week away, Vale will be looking to go into it with a win and so will we.

"We are looking forward to the game and hope to continue the progress that we have made in our previous four games.

"I am pleased with the way things are coming along; we've faced some big tests this pre-season, but they will stand us in good stead for when the action starts for real next Saturday."

Admission will be £10 (adults), £5 (juniors aged nine to under-18 and seniors over 60) and free of charge for children under nine who are accompanied by a paying adult and purchased from the Ticket Office on the day of the game.
