SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has reflected upon our pre-season clash with Aston Villa.

"I was delighted with the way that we performed against quality opposition," he said. "We stuck at it and created some decent chances. As long as we are creating chances, that is the important thing.

 "Overall I was very pleased; I have no doubt that the experience will benefit us. I wanted to give the lads a big test and the three games we have had here have certainly done that.

"The players are buying in to how we want to play and are responding well. There has been a definite improvement along the way and hopefully that will continue.

"All places are up for grabs. It's a squad game and I will utilise our squad to the best of its ability."
