THE SADDLERS' face our third home pre-season friendly in a week as Aston Villa come to town on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

"It's going to be yet another tough work-out for us," admitted manager, Chris Hutchings. "But that is exactly what we are looking for at this stage.

"We want to see how the players react and deal with certain situations and coming up against quality opposition such as Villa will tell us a lot about the players.

"These games are all about getting our match fitness levels up and building an understanding; we have made progress in our two previous matches and there have been positive aspects for us to take out of each of them.

"We look forward to this continuing against Villa in front of what is sure to be a large and vocal crowd."

To celebrate our 20 years at Bescot (Banks's) Stadium we will have members of the 1990 team that took on Villa in our first-ever game at the game as guests of the club. Ron Green, Kenny Mower, Peter Skipper, Dean Smith, John Kelly and Martin Goldsmith will all be introduced onto the field as part of the half-time entertainment.
