SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has reflected upon our latest pre-season friendly against Coventry City. "We created some decent chances and enjoyed some good passages of play," he said. "The lads felt more comfortable with the new system today and that will increase their confidence and belief.

"I thought that we retained the ball better than in the previous game and there were plenty of positives to come out of it.

"We've worked hard on the training ground and it is starting to show. It's all about how to get the best out of the players we have here and the encouraging thing is that we have the personnel to be able to change things around.

"You only have to look at our bench today where we were able to bring on the likes of Julian Gray and Steve Jones. We need that strength and the lads that we have brought in have all added quality."
