THE SADDLERS' youth team faces a couple of games against local non-League opposition as they prepare for their Football League Youth Alliance campaign, which kicks off on Saturday, August 14th with a trip to Stockport County.

Dean Smith's youngsters take on Evo-Stick League Division One South outfit, Rushall Olympic at Dales Lane tonight (kick-off 7.45pm) before locking horns with Sporting Khalsa at Noose Lane, Willenhall on Wednesday, August 11th.

"Both matches will be useful work-outs for us as the lads will come up against older and physically stronger players," said Head of Youth, Dean Smith. "It is an important part of our preparations and we look forward to both matches."
