SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has joined the tributes to Clayton Ince after the popular goalkeeper announced his decision to retire from professional football after Saturday's final game of the season.

"I would like to thank Clayton for his services and wish him well," he said. "He is such a likeable guy and a firm favourite amongst our supporters, which is a testament to him and the job that he has done for the club over the years.

"The toll of training every day has started to catch up with him and after careful consideration, he has decided to call it a day.

"He goes with our very best wishes for the future."

Hutchings would not be drawn on whether Ince would get any action in Saturday's final game of the season against MK Dons.
