DESPITE the venue being fit for purpose, the Club have today been informed of the decision by Promoters 'Unique Live Events' to cancel their 'Spring Happening' music festival.
Walsall FC would like to issue the following statement with regards to refunds.
Due to the sudden nature of this decision the Club is currently in the process of setting up a refund mechanism for those customers who purchased tickets for the Spring Happening through the Club to ensure an efficient and timely solution.
As such any person or persons who have purchased tickets for the event directly through the Football Club will receive their full refund within four weeks.
These customers will be contacted by our Sales Team within this four-week period to be fully-reimbursed, inclusive of booking fee and postage.
The Club would ask customers not to contact the Club unless you have not been contacted by us within this four week period. For those people who purchased tickets via other ticket agencies such as Ticket Master, Ticket Factory, seetickets.com or direct from Unique Live Events, are advised to contact that respective outlet direct for their refund.
Walsall FC will only refund those customers who purchased their tickets for the Spring Happening event directly through the Club.
Walsall Football Club are purely the venue, we do not have any further information available at this time other than to reassure those people who purchased tickets direct from ourselves that a full refund will be issued within the timescale outlined above.
