SADDLERS' wide-man, Julian Gray set us on our way with the opening goal against Hartlepool United at the wekkend.

The 30 year-old, who arrived at the club in February, has played his part in our recent run of good form. "I'm feeling good and don't want the season to end," he said with a smile. "We have played really well as a team recently and our aim is to finish as high as we can. To get that tenth place would be nice.

"Against Hartlepool on Saturday we managed to stem their flow and scored our goals at crucial times. Let's just say that my goal wasn't one of my normal goals, but I'll take it!

"I have been pleased with my performances in recent games and I would like to think that it will continue for the final two games of the season.

"There's a good bunch of lads here; we have a group of young players who will benefit from the experience this season and it gives us something positive to build upon.

"It's important to finish the season strongly and try to kick-on and have a good start to the following season. From what I have seen, there is the nucleus of a good team here and I am happy to be part of it."
