SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has given his verdict on our latest home victory as Hartlepool United were beaten by three goals to one. "It was a good performance," he said. "We created quite a few chances, but they were always a threat on the break, so we had to be tight at the back and alert.

"I felt the game became a bit too open on occasions, but we contained their threat well and I am delighted with the three points. We worked well as a team and there were some good individual performances out there.

"We are determined not to let the season peter out and we are now looking forward to the next game. Hopefully the fans will go home happy knowing that we are moving in the right direction."
