SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has picked the bones out of last night's seven-goal thriller at Huddersfield. "We're disappointed to have come away with nothing, especially after doing so well to get ourselves back into the game," he said. "I have no qualms about the sending off; we knew they would shift the ball around and have wide men who would cause us problems.

"To concede a second goal just before the break was a killer blow for us, but we were quite calm during the half-time interval and sorted things out.

"Once Troy got us back into the game you could see our confidence rise and suddenly Huddersfield became edgy. I was delighted to see the lads put in so much effort, commitment, desire and endeavour, alongside some good play, to turn the scoreline on its head against one of the better sides in this League.

"We knew what we had to do; we frustrated them and got ourselves in a great position before just coming up short right at the death.

"We have proven that we can fight and it was fantastic to see the travelling fans show their appreciation at the end. They pay a lot of money to follow us around the country and deserve that kind of whole-hearted commitment from the team."
