SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has reflected on our 2-1 home victory over Brentford. "It took a little while for us to get going," he said. "But we picked up the tempo after the break and, based on our second half performance, we deserved to win the game.

"We had to dig deep, roll our sleeves up and do a job. It was nice to see us score two excellent goals to turn the scoreline around and give us another three points.

"It's always nice to give the home supporters something to cheer about and it was important that we were able to build on the victory at Leeds with another winning result.

"Now we look forward to Tuesday's home game against Yeovil Town. The players will be in on Sunday and we will prepare correctly for it."

Dwayne Mattis suffered a cut to the calf early in the second half, whilst Darryl Westlake also picked up a calf injury during the first half.
